- Simple rules, although the rulebook makes it difficult for some. I think it actually is pretty well-themed, about wars the civil wars and wars between kingdoms of the ancient world.

I found it a little wordy to learn by, but once I played it made a lot more sense and I imagine would be a really good reminder, and the basic strategy tips were useful.

If you thought this was wordy, I suggest you stay away from the Struggle of Empires file :). Anyway, I generally agree - shorter is better. We'll see how it turns out ...
